problems.The amount of estrogen in a pregnant woman's body speeds up hair growth and eliminates any shedding. After the baby is born, a lot of this extra hair might fall out and sometimes all at once which is a shock to the woman. Post-pregnancy hair loss usually occurs 3 to 6 months after the birth. This is a sign that the body's hormone levels are returning to normal. Hair loss after pregnancy is usually only temporary.
Illness

Radiation therapy is also used to treat cancer. Side effects might include hair loss, depending on the body part receiving the treatment, how often you have radiotherapy and the dosage you are given.
